Hi! I am a Nursery teacher at the american School Foundation of Monterrey, Mexico. I attended a Mano a Mano course (early childhood development program) in Antigua Guatemala were I had the opportunity to learn about the Project Approach. I am fascinated with the idea of starting it in my own classroom, even though we work around standards and benchmarks and all this is new to them. I am very excited and motivated with your website and hope to read and learn more about the Project Approach in preschool.

In a high school project work looks different and is organized differently from in an elementary or even a middle school. This site is primarily for teachers working with preschool, elementary and middle school students. For examples of high school projects you may find more relevant examples on the Edutopia site: www.glef.org

My school has just announced we are moving to a project approach next year. I have been an art teacher for many years but I don't understand how the project approach works in a high school. How does this relate to the state requirements for credits in specific subjects. Will this new web site address the use of the project approach in high school. So far I've read that is important to have students using the computer. Is this for the research phase? Tell me more.
